Halloween Get Ready with Me

Trick or Treat? Halloween is a great time of year and this year I am going to a friends party, as a cat! Here is how I got ready, enjoy!

Make Up.
I started with normal base make up (concealer, brows and any contouring) and then focused on my eyes and lips.
I started with No7 Wheatsheaf all over my lid this colour is very natural and has a little shimmer. Then I used the No7 beneath the morning skies compact in my crease (I used a mixture of the two shadows marked with a cat). Now the eye shadow is finished I lined my upper lash line with the Rimmel Kohl pencil, this gives the illusion of thicker lashes. I then created a wing with the Collection Extreme Liner and coated my lashes with the Volume Million Lashes by L'Oreal (Top Lashes) and Barry M Lash Modelling Mascara (Lower Lashes).
I started with moisturised lips. I then used my Rimmel 1000 kisses lip liner in Black Cherry to define my lips. Then I filled in my lips with the same liner and used the Boujois lovely rouge l…

Recipe | Mini Pizzas {Halloween Themed}

I seem to be excited for Halloween this year as I keep having post ideas and things I want to share with you! Although I am not having a Halloween party (I am going to one though!) these are the perfect bite size snacks I have seen floating around the internet and wanted to share, enjoy!

You Will Need:
-Tomato Sauce
-Toppings (I used: Black Olives and Salami)

1. Start by cutting the tortillas into circles and place them in a muffin tin. (my muffin tin was a bit dirty so I put cupcake cases in it before the tortilla circles)

2. Spoon the tomato sauce into the tortillas, I used a teaspoon to do this.

3. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it onto the tortillas.

4. Now place the toppings onto the the tortillas, or leave them plain. (I have put some design ideas below!)

5. Place the mini pizzas in a pre-heated oven of 200 Celsius (400 Fahrenheit) for around 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edge of the tortillas has gone brown.

You are all finished! I hope you enjo…

OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil.

This is a product I was debating buying for a while but I finally did and I don't regret it. This is an oil which it to be applied to damp, towel dried hair and worked through to the ends. I have noticed a positive difference to my hair, as my hair dries it leaves it feeling silky, smooth and soft. My hair also looks and feels healthier. I do wish this products packaging was slightly different, if it had a pump at the top then it may be easier to control the amount that you use. Apart from that I would totally recommend this product.
Although I haven't used any others like it OGX is an organic brand and it was cheaper than other oils like it on the market.
Have you used this products, or anything similar to it? If so what did you think? :)

Create | Halloween Jar Lights

Halloween is great but sometimes you don't have time to carve a pumpkin or don't like the mess so here is a really easy (temporary) way to decorate a jar for cute halloween decor, enjoy!

You Will Need:
A JarSheer Material (in any colour, I used Orange and Green)Black Paper/CardAn Electric Tea Light (NOT a candle)Blue Tack or Double sided TapeScissors 1. Start by cutting shapes out of your black paper so that they form a face. 2. Stick them onto the jar with blue tack or double sided sticky tape.
3. Now place your tea light in the middles of your sheer material and turn in on. 4. Wrap your material around the light and place it in the jar. Your all done!
I hope you have fun making some of these this Halloween!

What I Love about Autumn..

For some reason I was excited for autumn this year and now it's here I am super happy! Maybe it's the fun that Halloween and Bonfire Night bring, I am really not sure. I couldn't wait for the leaves to go from emerald green to shades of amber's and golds and so here are my essentials for autumn, enjoy.

Candles and Fairy Lights.
I love candles, they just set the mood and I think that the scents that are available around Halloween and Christmas are amazing. If you would rather not have candles in your room/house then fairy lights are a great option. You can do so much with them and they complete a room. In my opinion they make everything feel homely and give the feeling of warmth, which I love around Autumn.

Deep Reds and Plums.
Dark Lip colours, they are an autumn staple. I love deep red colours, although they can stain I think if you get the right product they can look flawless and give you the perfect autumn look. Plums can also look great if your skin tone suits them …

LUSH Think Pink Bath Ballistic

This bath ballistic is amazing and will definitely become a regular purchase! It turns the water a gorgeous pink colour(no surprise!) and I also has the pleasant shock of little rice paper confetti hearts. The scent reminds me of the scent of bath bombs that I used as a child. It contains vanilla and tonka absolute which gives a sweet and comforting smell, which lingered on my skin for ages afterwards. Talking about skin I didn't notice any benefits, which would have been nice (not going to lie) but the bath bomb wasn't supposed to do anything so I wasn't disappointed.  This is one of my favourite bath bomb ever and has great value for money. I will buy this next time I return to lush!

Sweater Weather

So I saw this tag last year and loved it! I think that it's the perfect tag for autumn, enjoy!

Favourite Candle Scent?
I love candles, there are so many scents available all year round but the Autumn and Winter ones are my favourite. Candles set the season and one I have been loving this Autumn is Yankee Candles Sweet Apple. It is a sweet, sugary scent and reminds me of a freshly picked apple.

Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate. I have to be honest I have never tried coffee. I am also not the biggest tea drinker so hot chocolate is definitely my autumn drink of choice.

Dark Lips or Winged Eyeliner?
Dark Lips. In my opinion winged eyeliner is something which can be worn in any season and although dark lips can be worn in spring or summer too I prefer brighter lip colours around that time of year. (if you check out my previous post you will see that all the lip colours are pretty dark)

What is Autumn Weather like where you live?
Autumn is great. The weather gets colder but you occa…

Most reached for Autumn Lip Products.

Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick- 053 On Fire! Bourjois Lovely ROUGE- 15 Rouge best Maybelline New York Color Sensational- 150 Stellar Pink No7 Sheer Temptation- Excite Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Contouring Pencil- 063 Black Tulip and 021 Red Dynamite
I love the things that autumn and winter brings. The holidays, weather and fashion. I find myself reaching for deeper lip colours and I wanted to share my favourites and most worn with you.
I find Rimmel London do some of the best lip pencils, I own several by them but my favourite two are Black Tulip and Red Dynamite, the pencils are long lasting, pigmented and work great with or without a lipstick. They don't dry out my lips and apply smoothly. The Miss Sporty Lip Stick I bought this time last year for Halloween. I don't own any other lipsticks by Miss Sporty, it's a cheaper brand but it has a range of products. I found the formula of the lipstick to not be that pigmented but at the price I wasn't expecting an amazin…
