Chapter 6

So this month has been strange but has seemed slightly slower than the rest... which is always nice. I have been quite absent from social media and on here but you may have noticed that I am changing up my blog look and it's nearly summer so expect many more posts! I hope you June went well... Hello July! (it's nearly my birthday.. woo)

This photo had a lot of compliments and features flowers... so that's obviously why I included it.
This is a photo I took when I went to see 5 Second of Summer with my best friend! Loved it :D
This is also from the concert: Sparks Fly by Hey Violet (the support band, who were great)
More Flowers
Another flower... why not?
Lets finish with a classic sunset.
PS: shoutout to one of my favourite people Emma - because she has been incredible this month.

what's in my LUSH box?

Although it's only been 10 days since I last posted I feel like it has been forever! Today I am sharing with you what is currently in my box of LUSH products.  Lush is one of my favourite shops ever and I have a usual spending pattern of two bath bombs and a bubble bar. Occasionally I invest in one of my beloved face masks too!  So... what do I currently store in my sweet scented box of goodies? (these are in order of cheapest to most expensive product.)
New Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion Sample.
This is something new that is being offered at the till and as I have never tried charity pot but it's one of my friends favourite, so I thought why not give it a go?

Ickle Baby Bot Bath Ballistic. This is something I always have kept in my box because if I have had a stressful week or a few sleepless nights then the lavender in this really helps me to relax and sleep well! I have done a full review - read here!
Mayday Bath Ballistic. This bath bomb is special for May and every penn…

Summer Nail Picks | Collab with Beauty Blog

I have been reading Ellie's blog (links at the end!) for a while and after I commented on a post, she approached me and asked if we could collaborate, so here we are! Summer is fast approaching, so we thought we would share with you our top 5 summer lip and nail products! Check out Ellie's blog for her lip picks - I know I will!
1. Gelly Nail Paint in Greenberry - Barry M This is a gorgeous vibrant mint green colour and I really like the way it looks on my nails. It lasts a long time and like all the other nail varnishes in the Gelly nail paint range it is easy to apply and looks shiny on the nails!
2. Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Royal Indigo - Seventeen This is a gorgeous colour and definitely one for people who don't want a pastel or vibrant colour on their nails! I find the colour comes out lighter than appear but looks really nice. It also lasts a long time and doesn't chip easily!
3.  Pop Art Top Coast - Rimmel London This is the perfect top coat to add a pop of colou…

Weekend Morning Routine | Collab with Meet Me in Melford

When Bobo from Meet Me in Melford asked to collaborate I just had to say YES! She is one of my favourite bloggers and I have been reading her blog for quite a while. Click the links at the end of the post to pop over and say hello!
Routines are one of the most requested and popular posts on my blog so we decided to share one of ours. I'm doing my weekend morning routine and Bobo is doing her School morning routine!

At the weekends I usually wake up between 9:00 and 9:30, because no school! For around half an hour I scroll through social media - on my phone... who doesn't? When I finally get out or bed I shower. My current favourite body wash is my Rock Star Soap from Lush. After getting out of the shower I get dressed, I've usually completed my skin care in the shower (would you like an updated routine? comment below).  After getting dressed I go down stairs and have breakfast. Finally I go upstairs and do my hair and make up. This is only if I am going out because I'…

Empties #1

Empties are those special products which you use up because you love so much! Recently, I have finished quite a few products... some I have previously mentioned, others I haven't. Let me know in the comments if you enjoy this post because I haven't done anything like this before!
The first one I have is my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent. I bought this around a year ago and it didn't disappoint me. The products lasts all day and when I had good skin days I wore this alone and it provided a tiny amount of coverage but also slightly minimised my pores.. always nice! The packaging is also good. Sadly it doesn't come with a mirror or brush but it keeps the products in and doesn't easily come apart. Mine is a bit cracked and doesn't have the writing any more but still held the product (even when I smashed it into tiny pieces.. oops, haha).

The second product I have used up is also something I have owned for a really long time! Maybe even before I starte…

May Product of the Month

This month I chose a gift set for a product of the month! It's by Beauticology and I picked it up - for personal use but it would also make a lovely gift, if your very busy. The set includes a mini make up bag, nail file, cuticle stick and hand cream. I know that there are two versions available (maybe more!) and I chose the white/blue. This means that the make up bag is white, nail file is blue and white striped and that the hand cream is Coconut and Lime scented! The other version is pink! The nail file is good quality and the hand cream is really moisturising. I find that the scent lasts all day and I don't need a lot, although I have small hands!
So that's it! What would your product of the month be? Let me know why in the comments! XO
