July Product of the Month

There's been quite a hype recently about the Maybelline Browdrama and I'm going to add my little voice to the mix by naming it my July Product of the Month.  I've never been into doing my eyebrows, I don't wear make up everyday and I'm certainly no expert. I don't neeeed to fill in my brows but it does make a slight difference if I do and if I decide to go for heavier make up then it is a step that I follow. If your only just getting into brows or make up in general then I would definitely look at a product like this. I have the shade Dark Blond and I love that it is tinted. This just adds more colour and definition to my brows but doesn't make them look overly done. This product also has AMAZING staying power. You brush it on and within a few minutes it sets and stays set for hours. I can't talk about this product enough and it's the perfect brow product for me!
What have you been loving this month? XO

1 Week, 5 Photos | Collab with Mia Rose

I have collaborated with Mia Rose before and we both got on so well that we decided to collaborate again! Both of us share a passion for photography and have decided to share with you our week in photos. I'll leave a link to Mia's blog below - make sure you pop over and say hello!
You guys know I love flower photography and on Saturday I went on a walk with my friend and dog, so took advantage of all the flowers surrounding us.
I decided to wear some of my favourite jewellery pieces at the moment,
I met up with my friend in our local Costa and had a catch up.

I went to Nando's with three of my friend before going to see Disney's new film - Inside Out in Cinema
I'm changing up the wallpaper in my room so stripped it from the wall and this was a rip in the lining paper which I thought looked photogenic - strange? I know. haha

My Current Loves

It's just over half way through the year - time fly's and I've been loving a lot recently so I thought I would share some of the items, products and other treasures I've been loving recently.  This post is split into three sections: beauty, jewellery (random but I've picked up some beautiful pieces recently) and miscellaneous.
- MUA Matte Lipstick in Peachy Keen. I featured this in my recent post: what's in my travel make up bag? I'm really loving matte nudes, pinks and corals at the moment and for me this lipstick ticks all the boxes. It's matte, but not drying and is amazing for the price.
- Zoella Beauty: Bath and Body Range, Soak Opera. In summer I prefer baths which aren't bright and colourful... I prefer to go for something refreshing and relaxing. I find that the floral scent of this product does just that! I squeeze a bit into my running water and it creates huge amounts of bubbles which I love, no matter what season.
- Collection Bronze Glow …

What's in my travel make up bag? | Collab with Blossom of Hope

I've broken up for summer now, yay! The only downside is that it felt so much like a Sunday today instead of a Thursday... Anyway, today I have a collaboration with the beautiful Blossom of Hope, we thought it would be fun and interesting to share with you what we take on holiday. If you click the link at the end then you can go and find out what she keeps in her hand luggage.
The products your about to see (oooh, so very formal) are all make up related because I'm planning a post on my skin care and I just take those products and for me I don't do much for my hair. I'm also imagining that this post is about my make up bag when I go on my annual family holiday and not just an overnight trip... so there might be more products than expected, enjoy!
FACE
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer in Fair, I love this concealer and when I get a tan you can also use it as a highlighter.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer in 030 Classic Beige, this is the perfect 2-in-1 concealer and…

LUSH Blackberry Bath Bomb

I used this on sunday and I'm not going to lie... I LOVED IT.  If you have read my What's In My LUSH Box? post then you will know I adore the scent of this bath bomb. It contains frankincense oils which helps with anxiety and stress, I didn't realise this but the scent definitely makes me relax and melts away all your worries! When you drop it into the bath it fizzes quite slowly, but not super slow! As you can see by the photos that it turns your bath water a gorgeous deep purple shade and the centre of the bath bomb has a little surprise - which I won't spoil!! The only thing I don't like about this bath bomb is that there was a tiny bit of purple powder left in the bath and on my feet... which looked a bit like a bruise.  Apart from that I adore this bath bomb and the scent lasted for 24 hours on my skin... which is crazy! I will definitely be repurchasing it. XO

I forgot to mention in my previous few posts that I now have twitter: there is a link at the side y…

Summer Essentials | Collab with Simply Blog

Today I have the most incredible collaboration with one of my favourite blogs: simply blog. We decided that since summer is here we should share with you our summer essentials
I've tried not to be too obvious with my summer essentials and I've put quite a bit of thought into why each product is a summer essential for me. I also considered sunglasses, sun cream, water and a hat essential for summer but I didn't include them in this post!

I know that I said I wasn't going to talk about sun cream but I feel that a part of our face that is always forgotten about in the sun is our lips. I find it a pain to put sun cream on my lips because I find it drying and thick... disgusting! When I saw the Niva Sun Protect lip balm I just had to pick it up. I love it because it has SPF 30 and also contains sunflower oil so moisturises my lips nicely. I'm afraid it's not pictured above because I couldn't find it but I will have a post about my favourite summer skin care soo…

Primark Picks (and other bits) Haul | Collab with Emmie Bee

It's work experience this week (would you like a post?) but the business I'm working for was closed on Monday, so was Emma's (a friend). We decided to go shopping and after picking up a few things I asked on instagram if you wanted a haul and you all screamed YES, so here it is.

We took the train into our local large town and made our way into the shopping centre after buying some chips (naughty, I know). The first shop we went into was superdrug: I picked up two nail varnishes: Rimmel London 458 - Bee a Honey                                                   Barry M 519 - Matte Top Coat I'm loving yellow at the moment and also want to experiment with some matte nail varnish. I also picked up the Maybelline Brow Drama - Dark Blond. This is because I like to fill in the brows but it is still quite new to me and this sounds like the perfect product for me - watch this space, i'll report back.
We then popped into Primark and I bought two clothing items: a 3 set of soc…

LUSH May Day bath bomb

If you are a returning reader of my little blog then you will probably know that I have a box filled with LUSH products (which makes my room smell delightful) and one of the bath bomb was May Day. Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on this bath bomb (if you hadn't already guessed)!
I actually came across this product last year and never picked it up, I thought it was super cute and intended to go back but didn't realise that it's one of those bath bombs which is exclusive at certain times of year, as the name might suggest it is only available for the month of may. This means that when I saw it this may I just HAD to pick it up. Around three weeks ago I dropped this little badger into my bath and watched it fizz away. If I'm honest, out of all the scents at lush this isn't my favourite but it certainly isn't the worst - in my opinion. I found it to have quite a musky, citrus scent and the bath bomb was quite a powdery formula. That being said, when …

Note to self: Summer Bucket List

I'm pretty sad to be saying that I haven't posted half as much as I would have liked to in the past few months, but things happen and life goes on. We are currently in the midst of a heat wave and it's making me hyped for summer. This week has been a non-blazer at school (yes, we wear uniform) and it's been making me think of all the things I want to do this summer! Last year I wrote a summer bucket list (which I'll leave linked at the end for those of you who want) and if I'm totally honest I didn't achieve much because it wasn't realistic, so here is this years slightly more realistic - but still fun! - summer bucket list:
1. Go on a hike. I would love to go on a short hike with my friends up to our local park. There is a group of us who did DofE last year and then in winter we went again and brought our sledges (sadly the snow was a little to deep) so this summer I would love to pack a picnic basket and have all of us walk to the park again.
2. Make…

June Product of the Month

I couldn't decide what this month's product could be because this month has been so great. I could have talked about ROWYSO (see last post) or new products but instead I chose my denim jacket which I picked up at Primark. It's acid wash and pale... I love it! I find that it has completed my outfits, isn't too hot or cold and fits perfectly. If - like me - you don't want to invest in something expensive or want to experiment with your wardrobe and fancy the addition of a denim jacket then hop along to Primark. They also have a few other shades and fits!
I'm trying to keep product of the month posts short and sweet... what's your product of the month? XO
