Chocolate Egg Nests

Happy Easter Monday! I hope you're all enjoying this long weekend. I got quite a bit of chocolate yesterday and I know I'm not going to finish it all by myself so I found an easy to do recipe which you can follow to use up any chocolate. However do a little bit of research to see if your chocolate is going to melt because I find that Galaxy chocolate doesn't melt that well but Cadbury's does.
You Will Need: 300g Chocolate (an Easter egg is around 150g so half the other ingredients) 135g Cereal OR 6 Shredded Wheat Biscuits (that's what I used) Mini Chocolate Eggs
What To Do: 1. Boil some water in a kettle before pouring it into a sauce pan. 2. Place a large bowl over the sauce pan of water with the chocolate broken up inside. 3. Allow all the chocolate to melt, often stirring it so there's no sticking or burning chocolate. 4. Once melted, remove from the heat. 5. Add the cereal, if you're using shredded wheat then make sure to break up the biscuits. 6. Mix u…

Marshmallow Crispy Treats

If you're looking for a quick and easy treat which you can make in bulk or only a little for yourself then look no further. I've seen these everywhere and in case you haven't yet stumbled across a recipe I thought I'd share one here.
You Will Need:
90g Butter 260g Marshmallows 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract 170g Puffed Rice Ceral Sprinkles Chocolate
What To Do: 1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and when just melted pop in most of the marshmallows. 2. Allow the marshmallows to melt, often stirring to make sure they don't stick or burn. 3. Add the remaining marshmallows and vanilla extract. 4. Mix until mostly melted and fully combined. 5. Take the marshmallow mix off the heat and add the puffed rice cereal. 6. Fold it in until fully coated and pour in sprinkles of choice. 7. Pat the mixture into a baking tin lined with grease proof paper.  8. Stick some mini eggs on top (especially for Easter!) OR drizzle some melted chocolate on top! 9. Allow them to set in the oven before …

The Infinity Dreams Award

I was scrolling through my mentions and comments today when I discovered that the wonderful and lovely Ellie May Clarke had nominated me for a blog award. Yes. Me, I haven't been nominated in a tag for a while, so thank you. Rules - thank the blogger who thanked you - tell 11 facts about themselves - answer 11 questions - tag blogger
You may or may not know that I've been nominated for posts like this before so I'm going to link them at the end because I'm really struggling with facts.
Questions IF YOU COULD ONLY USE THREE MAKE UP ITEMS EVERY MORNING WHAT WOULD THEY BE? I would use a concealer, which would probably be the Seventeen Stay Time Concealer, as well as powder and mascara!
WOULD YOU PREFER TO LIVE IN A BUSY CITY, QUIET COUNTRYSIDE OR NEAR THE SEA AND WHY? I love where I currently live. If you go down one road then you will end up in the countryside and have many places to go walking or if you go the other direction then you'll be in the city and have a ran…

Spring Pinks.

This year spring seems to be all about the pinks and I, for one, am totally all for that, so with them in mind I've picked up a few of my pink tinted products which I tend to sway towards and pick up more at this time of year.
REVOLUTION REDEMPTION ICONIC 3 PALETTE This is a palette most of you probably own by now; if not something similar. The Urban Decay Naked palettes are super popular, however not within everyone's budget. Revolution create great dupes for a lot of products and this palette is a well known dupe for the Naked 3. It's got a lovely selection of rose gold colours and with the pink theme I've been swaying towards the first 5 colours. My favourite within them being the second: a beautiful pink glitter.
MAYBELLINE DREAM MOUSSE BLUSH 04 MAUVE I love blusher all year round and these blushes our incredible! They've got really good colour pay off and add a lovely natural tint to the cheeks without making you look like a clown. Not to mention they're …

A Spring Clean.

Happy Sunday all! In today's post I'm going to be sharing with you my top 5 tips for dealing with a little bit of stress and getting yourself motivated. For me spring is a really motivating time of year because the days are getting longer and with the warmer weather everyone seems to be enjoying more fruit and getting healthier. I love blending together a summer fruit smoothie. Is it just me or does it feel as if Sunday is the best day to bounce into spring because you can perfectly plan for the week ahead and it fills one of my favourite quotes: 'A Sunday well spend brings a week of content.'
1. Write down everything you have to do that week. This is something I've only recently started doing but it really helps me get everything in order and makes sure that it's totally clear what goals I have to achieve by the end of the week. I have some adorable post-it notes which read 'To Do List' and have 5 spaces to write things. I fill out one for each day of …

A Weekend by the Sea.

I spent the most wonderful weekend by the sea. We travelled away from the snow covered hills on Friday and drove. Stopping to grab a bite to eat and then attending an evening gathering with some of the wonderful people I would be spending time with over the next few days. The next day was spent by the sea. It felt like worlds away from the busy town I'd travelled from. The sun shone in the sky and it felt so very relaxing. We then travelled back and my lovely aunt and uncle renewed their wedding vows: celebrating 10 years together! It was a long and exciting evening. XO
