You Are Beautiful.

I am happy with who I am.  I like my thick, naturally straight, almost brunette hair, I like my eye
brow shape, I like my crazy eye colour, I like my nose it's kinda cute, I like the way I can pout my lips, I like the way I can see my cheekbones, I like the shape of my face, I like that I have small wrists, I like my small hands, I like my small waist and curves, I like my height and the length of my legs, in fact I even like my size 5 feet.  However, if you were to put me next to someone with naturally curly hair, someone with darker and thicker eyebrows, someone with blue eyes, someone with a pointed nose, someone with fuller lips, someone with a rounder face and more defined chin, different arms, legs and curves, I would like myself less. That's comparison, and what makes it worse is that I know I should feel confident but sometimes it's just so difficult and I know I'm not the only one who sometimes feels this way.
Writing this post I felt I should offer some sort…

15 Songs Stuck In My Head

In my job there is a little bit of repetition, I do the same things every week day from 7 to 9 and during that I time I've had a lot of time to think so I often find myself with songs I've listened to recently and really like getting stuck in my head, so with that I'm combining them all and putting them in a blog post. It's also turned out very similar to my summer playlist, so you could call this post as well! I thought I would throw my favourite lyric in there too.
Girls Talk Boys by 5 Seconds Of Summer 'I know we're young and people change, and we may never feel the same...'
R U Mine? by Arctic Monkeys 'She's a silver lining lone ranger riding'
Seaside by The Kooks 'I handled my charm with time and slight of hand'
Undercover Martyn by Two Door Cinema Club 'Out on the main streets, completing your mission'
Meet Me At The Corner by Red Hot Chili Peppers 'Receding into the forest, I will lay around in wait.'

10 Things Vlogging Has Taught Me

So, as you've probably heard a hundred times already I've started YouTube. I know, I know, I can stop going on about it now, but it's a rather large deal for me and I'm really enjoying it. I've created two channels one that I'm referring to as a 'main channel', although it's not that, just somewhere for me to transform my blog posts into videos and do anything I really want. As well as this, I also really enjoy watching vloggers and wanted to give the 'carry a camera around' videos a try too but keep them separate as I like the order and organisation. With that I've filmed a few vlogs and although I would in no way, shape or form call myself a vlogger (I sometimes don't even refer to myself as a blogger... although I've been doing this for quite a while!) or an expert it's definitely a learning experience and I'm picking up a lot of things and discovering this new world of 'vlogging' (that sentence makes me seem …

Birthday GRWM | YouTube

Another video is up on my channel! The morning of my birthday a sat a camera down in front of me and got ready, it was different but it was fun and I cut 35 minutes of video into 3. I decided to start filming after having put on some concealer, BB cream and done my eyebrows because I don't quite feel ready or confident enough to be bare faced on the internet. It's a relatively big thing and being a teenager with a few spots here and there, then allowing anyone and everyone to be able to click on that video and see you. So this video starts with my eye make up and finishes with a clip of the vlog I've popped up on my vlogging channel: Extra Emsi. XO

Lush, Life & Lyrics | YouTube

Truth be told I was extremely nervous to film, edit and press publish on my first ever YouTube video and although it's not a big deal, for me, it was because it was the first time you guys would see me. You would hear my voice, see me move and take a look at the face that's been behind this blog for the last two years, but I did it! It feels as though a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and that I can fully invest myself into my blog and with that my YouTube, more than I ever believed I could have and it's very exciting. It's funny because when you watch YouTube many vloggers seem effortless and it becomes your mission, without realising, to be like someone who has been doing it for years and yet you've never sat down and filmed a video.  I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my blog, as you may have seen due to the amount of times I have changed it up in the past and I don't know whether this will be my blog design forever but at lea…

A - Z Of Me

Sometimes it's nice to get to know a little bit more and I noticed the lovely Everything Erin and Meet Me In Melford had written this style post, so as I enjoyed reading them a lot it was something which seemed perfect to put up so you can all get to know me a little better.

Gemma. My little sister.
Happy. How I'm feeling right now.
I'd rather be a comma, than a full stop. A lyric from the song Every Teardrop is a Waterfall by Coldplay. One of my favourite ever songs.
July. My birth month. My birthday is just over a week away (…

A YouTube Book Library.

YouTube has taken off and as a result many wonderful books have been published. Over this time I've managed to collect my own library of YouTube books which make a lovely addition to my book shelf and due to the mixed reviews I thought I would throw my opinion out there. I've only picked up the ones which have appealed to me and there are a few more I'm interested in, so I'd love to hear your thoughts.
All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher YouTube:Its Way Past My Bed Time My most recent book purchase and the book I am currently reading. This book has so many helpful tips for dealing with life, love and growing up. Carrie has a wonderful channel and pops up a whole range of videos and I feel that this book really captures the positive vibe her channel has and she's now releasing On The Other Side which is a fictional book which I think will be perfect if you're more into that.
